HUNTING

• Wolves are great hunters!
• Lone wolves hunt small,packs hunt big!
• Wolves have 3 kinds of teeth for hunting!
• The front teeth hold the animal,.
• The big fang-like sharp teeth grip meat off bones

QUARRELING

• There,s an alpha and pack member.
• They growl at each other!
• The alpha stands tall,head raised ears and tail pointed up!
• Then the pack member rolls on its back to show it gives up.
• The quarrel is over.

WOLF SPECIES

• The most common kind of wolf is the gray wolf!
• The most endangered kind of wolf is the red wolf.
• There's the Timber wolf,tundra wolf,arctic wolf!
• There,s also the mexican wolf,it lives in north mexico!
• There,s a whole lot of kinds of wolves more than just these!

PUPS

• Pups are first born in dens and only drink milk.
• Pups have to be guarded because there helpless.
• At about 2 weeks they open there eyes and start walking!
• Pups need to play to be an adult!Pups fighting is like hunting.
• Pups leave the den at 3 or 4 weeks old.

WOLF ATTACK!

• Wolves hunt farmers cattle and sheep.
• Wolves rarely attack humans because we kill them!
• Now that wolves are endangered,people make laws to protect them.
• Some people don't like wolves because of fairy tales.
• And because wolves kill,we want to kill them cause we want there meat.

• Wolves are very smart.They can open a door very quikly .
• It could take a dog six years!
• If wolves wern't smart they couldn't hunt!
• Being smart in wolf world is like being a leader.
• Wolves have growth mindsets, thats a good thing!

• The strongest kind of wolf is the Alpha leader.
• The second strongest is the beta wolf.(baytah)
• The weakest kind of wolf is the omega wolf.
• The leader puts its nose on top of a pack members nose to show who's boss.
• The Alpha always is the best hunter and strongest member of the pack.

WOLVES AND DOGS

• Did you know wolves are the largest member of the dog family?
• Foxes,wild dogs,jackals,coyotes,and domistic dogs are also members.
• I once read a book about a wolf and a dog.There was a box with a treat in it.
• The wolf tried to get it out and the dog just begged!
