HOW TO CONVERT THE RESOURCE INTO A USEABLE FORM OF ENERGY

  • Water wheels are used to convert the energy of flowing or falling water into mechanical power or electricity. They can be used to move water and also to generate energy such as electricity.

WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGE OF HYDRO-ELECTRIC ENERGY ?

  • Hydropower offers advantages over other energy sources but faces unique environmental challenges. Hydropower is fueled by water, so it's a clean fuel source. Hydropower doesn't pollute the air like power plants that burn fossil fuels, such as coal or natural gas.
