When someone barely has any memory at all
one of the most destructive diseases of old age
A disease that affects nerve cells causing memory loss
Actually three types of Dementia (preclinical, mild cognitive impairment (MCI),and Alzheimer dementia.)

...Scientists are actually not sure
Most likely a genetic defect
High blood pressure
High cholesterol
Down syndrome
Some kind of head injury
People over 60 most likely have Alzheimer’s

What are the affects of Alzheimer’s? And how does it affect the three healths?

SOCIAL HEALTH:
They won’t be able to communicate
Disease causes them to forget stuff
They will forget who people are
They will forget how to speak (eventually)

EMOTIONAL HEALTH:
They will be emotionally stressed
Worried
Have a feeling of helplessness
Low self esteem

Exercising
Eating healthy
Taking certain medications
Having an active mind (doing puzzles)
There is no way to prevent Alzheimer’s but you can delay it

Going to a local retirement home/hospital and donate crossword puzzles
If you have a loved one with Alzheimer’s, let them know you’re there for them
