During this lab, we saw that the cockroaches could also climb upside down. That's because they have barbs on their legs and feet. These barbs help them climb well.

COCKROACH oBSERVATIONS
The cockroaches liked the dark.
They are nocturnal.
They make a hissing sound when they are scared.
They also hiss when the male wants the female's attention.
They also liked the sweet foods that we gave them.
