Many amazon tribes believe that the Rainforest is the home of life meaning that every plant, animal and flower have a soul. People known as shamans use the power of plants and flowers to heal tribe members and call for harm to attack enemy tribes.

Many tribes have a traditional dance like the bora, the piraha and the yanomani. These dances are very indigenous to tribes and are part of their reputation. Sometimes they have singing and even craft shows that liven up the dance

The Yanomani live in houses called yanos or shabonos. These house over 400 people. The central area has activities like rituals, meals and games.an

The Yanomani act like a communism. They believe in equality among people so they are no chiefs. No hunters ever eat the meat they get. They share it to friends and family and are awarded by another hunter.
