• Unfortunately factory's have destroyed fresh water in the river.
• The fast flowing polluted water has killed plants along the river bank.
• Burning trees releasing methane into the river.
• Factory emissions killing fish in the river

POLLUTION CAUSED BY PEOPLE

• Industrial expansion causes death of plants.
• Corporations setup ranching facilities where the forest once was.
• Factory emissions.

WHAT POLLUTION HAS CAUSED

• Pollution has caused brain damage.
• Homes are being destroyed for factory's.
• Mentally harming

Why do we need the Amazon rainforest ?

The river amazon is one of the worlds major water supplies. Its the fifth largest water supply in the world!

How long is the river amazon?

The river amazon is so long that it goes through three countries which are Colombia ,Peru and Brazil!

Do you know that the river Amazon is the second largest river in the world!
It is even 6,437km long and 56km wide!
It's amazing.
