CREATING JOBS

  • When someone creates something new they think about will it help benefit the economy or will it destroy the economy
  • In the Amazon Rainforest or in Brazil alone there aren't many jobs, not ones that pay good
  • Our product will create jobs for people who need some extra cash and extra hours

ORIGAMI

  • Origami is created by following folding basics steps. When you follow the diagrams shown you'll get a result of something beautiful or terrible
  • When we look at the concepts of origami we realize how hard it's going to be. We first have to think of what to create and how the wires would fit and if they could bend

COMMUNICATION

  • Our product will amplify communication signals in the Amazon Rainforest in Brazil
  • Due to the foliage and no radio towers, the only way of communication is through mail. The antenna will pickup a nearby signal to gain communication

RADIO TRANSMITTER

  • Radio transmitters have mechanical vibration in the speaker to create sound waves that can be heard
  • The Amazon Rainforest on average produces 2,623 mm of rain a year. If someone is stuck in the rain and no radio signal, they could be trapped with no contact to modern civilization for months, years even

DANGERS OF THE RAINFOREST

  • There are many dangers in the Amazon, such as snakes, cliffs and winding narrow roads.
  • The Yungas Highway is nicknamed Death Road because of many car accidents due to the narrow and slippery road.
  • On one side there is a 2,000 foot abyss, and to another just a wall of solid rock. The road is only 12ft wide.In the 1930s it was cut out of a mountain, which is dangerous with the amount of rainfall the Amazon receives causes mudslides and falling rocks....huge rocks.

FOLDING

  • A folding diagram is basically what you follow when folding origami. These instructions make sure you know what to do and how to do it. It has arrows and pictures.
  • Trying to configure the wiring with the folding is a difficult task to handle. The antenna will have to be on the outside.
