PRESENTATION OUTLINE

First of all the 10 Amendments are the bill of rights.

The 1st amendment was written to prevent the national government from establishing a national church.

The 2nd amendment "the right to bear arms" is a well regulated militia being necessary to the security of free state.

The third amendment is the housing of soldiers.
No solider shall in time of piece, be quartered in any house without the Consent of the owner.

Amendment 4 is the right of people to be secure in their own persons, houses, papers, and affects against unreasonable searches and seizures shall not be violated.

The Fifth Amendment is no person shall be held to answer of for a capital or otherwise infamous crime unless of on a presentment or indictment of a grand jury.

Amendment six:
In all criminal persecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial.

Amendment seven:
In suits at common law where the value in controversy shall succeed twenty dollars. The right of trial by jury. Shall be persevered.

Amendment eight:
Excessive bail shall not be required nor excessive fines imposed nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.

Amendment nine: the enumeration in the constitution of certain rights shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by people.

Amendment 10:
The powers not delegated to the United States by the constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states are reserved to the states respectively or to other people.
