• Over 3/4 of the population is Christian
• Catholicism, Judaism , and Protestants are other large religions
• Catholics and Christians go to church on Sunday
• The Jewish religion does not believe Jesus was the son of God
• All religions believe in a type of "God"

HOLIDAYS

• Martin Luther King jr. Day-2nd Monday in January
• Valentines day- February 14th
• St. Patricks day- March 17th
• Christmas- December 25th
• New Year's Eve/Day- December 31st-January 1st

OLD HOLIDAYS

• Christmas was a holiday where children would receive little wood toys
• New Years has been celebrated since the beginning of time
• Birthdays were not celebrated like they are today. Back then just a treat and that was all
• Christmas would involve chopping down a large tree and using it with no ornaments
• As for celebrity holidays there were none

EDUCATION

• School 5 days a week (mon-fri)
• 3 month break during the summer months
• Kindergarten through high school is free
• There are colleges around the U.S.
• The longer you're in school, the better of a job you can earn

EDUCATION OF THE PAST

• Children would attend until they were teenagers
• After school they would work around their home
• Boys would do the hard labor
• Girls would cook and clean
• The children would do the same thing until their death

SPORTS

• Football is the most popular sport because the global exposure
• Basketball is the 2nd largest just because it is newer
• Baseball is the 3rd largest sport Even though the oldest people find it boring
• Soccer is the 4th largest sport In the USA but largest in the world
• Hockey is the 5th largest sport, technology keeps kids inside when it is cold

SPORTS "BACK THEN"

• Baseball was the most popular because it was the first.
• Football was the 2nd most popular because of the brutality
• Hockey was 3rd most popular Because it was a winter sport
• Basketball was 4th most popular cause it had not expanded
• Those were the four popular sport
