• People every year overall are improving their English
• Senior citizens are improving their English very slowly but constantly

Population of interest

• Population of interest are citizens who speak English as a second language
• Gather participants by giving them questionnaire

Research

• Research should take no more than 30 minutes
• First, participants are thanked for participating in study and that no harm will come to them
• Hand out survey and wait for them to finish

• After P's finish survey, debrief them
• Ask them if they have any question

IV & DV

• IV is the survey's reading and difficulty level
• DV is their ability to understand the survey as best as they possibly can
