  • Realism writers focused on scientific, historical and and everyday life.
  • The origin of Realism is unsure, but it is thought to have originated from France

SAMUEL CLEMENS

  • Mark Twain was Clemens's pen name.
  • Mark Twain was one of the most famous Realism writers.
  • The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn was the book that started all American fiction.
  • His style gave Americans appreciation for their national voice.

STEPHEN CRANE

  • Stephen Crane wrote "The Red Badge of Courage."
  • This book was about the civil war.
  • He also wrote a book called "Maggie: A Girl of the Streets.

REALISM

  • Realism was about the truth in life.
  • Other styles wrote about hope unlike Realism.
  • The writings where about what everything is.
