PAUL REVERE MAKES HIS MIDNIGHT RIDE TO WARN OF A BRITISH ATTACK.

William Dawes and Samuel Prescott also did the midnight ride with Paul Revere saying," The Regular are coming!" Instead of," The BRITISH are coming!"

THE FIRST SHOT OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION IS FIRED IN LEXINGTON, MA.

The battle of Lexingtonton happened in April 19th, 1775. The colonists had 75 troops, against 700 British troops. Eight colonists were killed.

THE SECOND CONTINENTAL CONGRESS FORMS THE CONTINENTAL ARMY UNDER GENERAL GEORGE WASHINGTON.

In 1781, in the battle of Yorktown Virginia, the British were defeated by the Colonial Forces. General Cornwallis surrendered to the Colonies.

Parliament, the British version of government, could pass laws without US approval. This led to unfair acts, taxes, and laws, which ended in the revolution. The king and the parliament cause this chaos.
