  • One plane crashed into the pentagon and the other landed in Pennsylvania.
  • The event improved the security and made everyone aware of terrorist.
  • 2,974 and 19 hijackers died that day.
  • It's important because we became more aware a terrorist/ people who disagree
  • Al-Qaeda, a terrorist group, crashed 2 planes into the twin towers

Bill of Rights

  • Many years after the Magna Carta, people wanted to represent the "people".
  • England created the Bill of Rights in 1689 and William and Mary signed it.
  • Affects the future generations because it protects their natural born right
  • The Bill of Rights is Constitution that protects our natural rights.

American Flag

  • Was created on June 14, 1777 by the Congress
  • The flag represents pride, freedom, and respect
  • The stripes represent the thirteen colonies & the stars represent the state
  • It's improtant because it represents America
  • It affects the future by symbolizing America's past and future.

Trail of Tears

  • In 1830 the US government took the home of the Native Americans.
  • Native Americans were forced to live on the Mississippi river.
  • Only the Cherokee got along with the US until they found gold.
  • This event shows that we should respect others and their property.
  • Trail of Tears shows the future generation to not be greedy.

Liberty Bell

  • On 1776 in Philadelphia the bell rang for independence from  Great Britain.
  • The bell was named by the ones who wanted to free slaves in 1839.
  • The Pennsylvania Provincial ordered the bell from Britain
  • It represents the US earning independence from Great Britain.
  • The bell shows how nothing is impossible if you fight for it/ earn it.
