THE HINDENBURG

  • The Hindenburg bursted into 200 feet over its landing spot.
  • The fall of the Hindenburg happened on May 6,1937.
  • The Hindenburg caught on fire and was destroyed.
  • 35 out of 61 crew members died on the Hindenburg.
  • 57 crew members survived the Hindenburg.

THE TITANIC

  • The titanic was a British passenger line ship that sank.
  • It happened on April 15,1912
  • It sank in the North Atlantic Ocean.
  • 705 people survived the sinking of the Titanic.
  • 1,517 people died on the sinking of the Titanic.

THE CHALLENGER

  • It is the most complex of the six shuttle orbiters.
  • It launched on January 28,1986.
  • The shuttle exploded 73 seconds after lift off.
  • On the challenger 17 crew members died.
  • Nobody survived the challenger explosion.

THE COLUMBIA

  • It was the first space shuttle to reach orbit.
  • On February 1, 2003 it launched upon reentry into earth's atmosphere.
  • A large piece of foam fell from the shuttle's external tank.
  • Seven astronauts died in the Columbia explosion.
