  • Mali ce.1230 until ce.1600.

DAILY LIFE

  • Children were often considered adults at around the age of 12.
  • Girls usually married around 12 or 13 years old. Their fathers chose the husband.
  • blacksmiths, weavers, tailors, jewelers, and tool makers were artistians.
  • Traders moved goods across the Sahara Desert using caravans of camels.
  • Most people in Ancient Africa were farmers.

RELIGIOUS BELIEFS

  • Some belived in gods of nigeria,uganda,and kotanda
  • Some believed in nature spirits of animals,water,and earth
  • Ancestral spirits of dead ancestors and by praying to them they would speak to the suprem god for them
  • Sacrifice is most of their religion.

  • Ghana the animals had no grass to eat
  • Invaders from all around they had no chance.
  • Mali fell because mansa musa died,then inaders came,
  • The invaders destroyed mali's empire.
  • Songhai had civil wars then that led to morocco.then they all split.
