roman roads

  • The roads of Ancient Rome were built by Roman soldiers
  • The roads were made of 3 layers of different items
  • The items are; sand, crushed stone, and concrete
  • Roads were higher in the middle so that the rain will drain off

  • The bottom level was rubble 
  • Then flat slabs of rock
  • After that concrete and gravel
  • Finally closely-laid paving stones

Greeks and their religion

Greeks were polytheistic which means they believed in multiple gods.

There were 12 main gods, they lived on top of Mt. Olympus and were called the Olympians.

  • Hera was Zues' wife
  • Apollo & Artemis were brother & sister
  • Aphrodite was Hephaestus' wife, but she was really in love with Ares
  • Demeter was Zeus' sister
  • Athena was born from Zues' head fully-grown

Rule 1: When letters are repeated the value increases by that much.

Rule 2: When letters are put after another letter of bigger value, the 2 values are combined.

Rule 3: When letters are put in front of another letter of bigger value, the bigger value decreases.
