Roman aqueducts

  • Roman Aqueducts are used to transport water to different places. 
  • The Aqueducts supply public baths,wells, and fountains.
  • They can be as long as 2,000 meters.

rOMAN ROADS

  • Roman roads are used for transporting goods and culture. 
  • Roman roads can be up to 560km long. 
  • They were also used to transport soldiers to get to places faster.

Roman arches

  • The Arches are made of concrete.
  • They are still used today in door frames.
  • The Romans used a rectangle shaped door frame before they used Arches

Roman colesseum

  • The Roman Colesseum was used for Gladiator fights.
  • It had many seats on the side so alot of people could watch.
  • The Colesseum is made of concrete and it is still here today.

Roman pantheon

  • The Pantheon had many columns like the Greek Parthenon
  • The Pantheon had an area with a dome that let in light
  • The dome had a special design that held it up

Julius caesar

  • Julius Caesar was captured by pirates and held for ransom.
  • He was later elected consul.
  • In 58 BCE Julius left for Gaul for 9 years

Octavian augustus

  • Octavian Augustus was one of the greatest rulers of Rome.
  • He won a civil war and was named dictator.
  • He formed an alliance with Marc Antony.

Romulus

  • He killed his brother Remus and formed Rome.
  • He named Rome after himself.
  • He ruled Rome too.

Founding of rome

  • Romulus was the person who founded Rome.
  • The founding of Rome happened when Romulus killed his brother Remus
