Why teens do drugs?

Teens do drugs for many reasons. Now we will visit some of these reasons.

Peer Pressure

When a teen gets pressured into it by another teen, that is peer pressure.

Addiction

Some teens do drugs because they are addicted to doing them. They want to stop but can't.

The High

Many teens do drugs because of the euphoric sensation they get when they do them.

To get Better

Some drugs that increase physical strength like steroids are used to get better at sports.

To Feel Grown Up

Because of how powerless some teens can feel, they take drugs to have control and believe they are mature.

Why Not

Here are some reasons why all people shouldn't do drugs.

Stopping

Because of addiction it can be hard to stop. If you don't start, you can't get addicted.

Diseases

Many drugs can increase your risk of diseases like cancer or stroke.

Accidents

Because of how drugs can stop you from thinking straight, which will increase your chanses of accidents like taking more drugs or car crash.

Jail

Just having drugs is bad. You can get arrested or fined if you are caught with illegal drugs.

Overdose

The scariest thing that could happen. If too much of a drug is taken, the risks are high, with disease if lucky, and death if not.

That is why you shouldn't do drugs!
