ANDY WARHOL

CHILDHOOD

• Andy Warhol was born in Pittsburgh,Pennsylvania on August 6th 1928
• He was the youngest of three brothers
• Andy grew up during the Great Depression
• At a early age he showed a great talent of drawing
• He got a illness at the age of 6

EARLY AGES

• Andy's dad died in 1942 and his main wish was for Andy to go to collage
• So he went to collage and got further then anybody in his family in school
• Andy failed his first year but went to summer school and got back on track
• Also during hos summer he helped his brother huckster fruit and vegetables from a truck
• Carnegie Tech nurtured Andy's creative visual and understood his keen sense of design

Andy Warhol is a big inspiration for me and I can't wait to see the next artist that comes out like him. Also I feel pop art is a way to express yourself.
