Iron supplements and increased iron intake in the diet from green leafy vegetables and other foods can correct this condition

APLASTIC ANEMIA

A RESULT OF INJURY TO OR DESTRUCTION OF BONE MARROW

Common causes include chemotherapy, radiation, toxic chemicals, and viruses

Treatments include eliminating the cause, blood transfusions, and,in severe cases, a bone marrow transplant.
