ANGIOSPERM

  • A flowering plant
  • Contains fruit
  • Reproduce by seeds or pollination
  • a plant that has flowers and produces seeds enclosed within a carpel.

EXAMPLES OF ANGIOSPERM

  • Apple trees
  • Dogwood tree
  • Oak tree
  • Maple trees

REPRODUCTION OF ANGIOSPERM

  • Takes place through pollination
  • Produce male and female cells
  • Cells grow into seeds.

GYMNOSPERM

EXAMPLES OF GYMNOSPERMS

  • Cone bearing plants
  • Called the " naked" seed plant
  • Have needles instead of leaves
  • seed-producing plants that includes conifers, cycads, Ginkgo, and Gnetales.

REPRODUCTION OF GYMNOSPERMS

  • the cones contain a leafy green sporophyte and male and female
