Basic Facts

• Typically only works with two animals with the same amount of chromosomes.
• Single crossed hybrids & double crossed hybrids.
• Hybrids have gametes from two different species.
• The name of a hybrid is typically based on the original species & genders.
• (ex. Male Lion + Female Tiger = Liger)

• Tigon (Male Tiger + Female Lion)
• Cama (Male Camel + Female Llama)
• Zebroid (Male Zebra + Female Horse)
