  • Sponges Are the simplistic invertebrates
  • Sponges can be brightly colored in tropical
  • They have 2 cell walls
  • They have no body symmetry
  • There body's are full of channels

CNIDARIANS

  • All Cnidarians have stingers
  • Phylum Cnidaria means stinging
  • Animals.
  • Cnidarians are carnivores.
  • They have no eyes.

  • Planarians is a kind of flatworm
  • Have a simple nervous system
  • One opening
  • Has a digestive system

  • Most can't be seen
  • Round tube like body
  • Make up of Phylum Nematoda

  • King of all worms
  • Has a brain

MOLLUSKS

  • Has soft bodies
  • No bones!
  • Mantle makes shell
  • Has a muscular foot

CRUSTACEANS

  • Claws are usually not the same sizes
  • One claw is larger for defense
  • Other for capturing prey
  • People eat crustaceans for food

ARACHNIDS

  • Has 8 legs
  • No antennaes
  • Spiders, Scorpions, Ticks, & mites
  • Are in the arachnid category
  • Almost all live on land

  • Has exoskeletons
  • Grow with stages
  • Many have wings

ECHINODERMS

  • Echinoderms mean spiny skin
  • Only live in saltwater
  • Starfishes can regenerate
  • Has no brain

BONY FISH

  • More than 20,000 different species
  • Has swim bladders
  • 4 sets of gills
  • Regular fish that we see in lakes

  • No bones
  • Has no swim bladders
  • Sharks, Rays and skates
  • Bones made out of cartilage

JAWLESS FISH

  • Has no jaws
  • Suck out dead fish blood
  • Hagfish and lamprey
  • Looks like eels

  • Some live on land
  • Some live in water
  • Cold blooded
  • They breathe 3 ways
  • Though lungs, roof of mouth, skin

  • All snakes are meat eaters
  • Chameleons have better eyesight than us
  • Make anti-venom from venom
  • All are cold blooded
