Populations
Lynx prefer to live and hunt by themselves. A limiting factor on their population would mostly be their food source, the snowshoe hare. They don't have really any predators.

Energy
Lynxs are tertiary consumers and they are carnivores. They eat mice, squirrels, birds, but they prefer snowshoe hares.

Biological interactions
The Lynxs' main prey are snowshoe hare. It's competition are wolves because they both eat snowshoe hare. Lynx and snowshoe hare have a predator/prey relationship.

Adaptations
Larger eyes - to see far away and the snowshoe hare blends in with the snow so Lynx need great eyesight to be able to locate their prey.
Fur between their toes - their feet act as snowshoes and that makes them able to run in the snow faster and not sink in. They also need to be able to run fast to catch the snowshoe hare, which is fast.
