LIONS

  • The lion (Panthera leo) is one of the five big cats
  • Lions are very dangerus.
  • Lions live for 10–14 years in the wild
  • Lions are carnivores, they eat meat: Buffalo, zebra...
  • Some lions are wild and some aren't.

LIONS LIVE IN GROUPS

  • Lions are the only cats that live in groups, which are called prides.
  • Prides are family units that may include up to three males, a dozen or so females
  • All of a pride's lionesses are related, and female cubs typically stay with the group as they age
  • Young males eventually leave and establish their own prides by taking over a group
  • Males defend the pride's territory, which may include some 100 square.

PHYSICAL CARACTERISTIC

  • Only males have long hair that encircles their heads.
  • The body is very muscular, with less bone mass.
  • They are very big.
  • They are big cats ho live in the wild
  • Females are not so big like de males.

  • Some lions live in the zoo and they aren't wild.
  • Lions live in the wild in Asia and Africa.
  • The lions in the zoo are trained.
  • En Asia they aren't so much lions then in Africa.
  • In Africa they are much lions.
