PRESENTATION OUTLINE
A dislocated ankle is a condition characterized by damage and tearing of the connective tissue around the joint.
Causes of the injury are mostly of hard impact or high-velocity impact to the ankle.
Dislocations are painful, and there is usually obvious deformity of the ankle joint. It may be very difficult or impossible to stand or walk.
The injury usually happens to athletes. Like: football players, track runners, and soccer players.
Treated by being out in a cast for 3-4 weeks, and after use a ankle brace.
