Most Interesting:The Puritans did not like a cross on one of the American Flags.Strangest:John Hancock thought Betsy Ross was a good choice to make the American Flag.Your Favorite:The Star-Spangled Banner is a good song for our country.
SUMMARY
The book I have chosen is titled The American Flag.It was written by Joseph Ferry.It is about the history of the American Flag.This book describes the many different flags of America throughout history.It tells about the different designs of the flags.It also tells about who wrote the song about the flag, and the meanings behind the flag.
MY OPINION
I liked this book because I like history and I like learning about the American flag facts.
