1925-1933 LIFE IN GERMANY
The Franks settle in Frankfurt, Germany but hitler soon takes over as leader
1933-1939 EMIGRATING TO THE NETHERLANDS
The Franks move to Merwedeplein where they feel safe & Otto works hard at his business
1940-1942 THE GERMAN INVASION.
The Germans invade & restrictions keep coming to the Jews and the family goes into hiding
1942-1944 A DIARY AS A BEST FRIEND
Anne writes in a diary about her new life and hopes the diary will be published but the Franks soon get arrested
1944-1945 THE ARREST
The Franks are betrayed anonymously & are sent to Westerbork & Amsterdam. Only Otto Frank survives the camps.
