- dizziness or fainting
- irregular heart rhythms
WHAT IS THE TREATMENT?
- therapy (group, family, individual)
- families can help get kids to eat again
- help from professionals
- hospitalization with specialized eating disorder plans
- feeding through a tube
HOW DO YOU PREVENT IT?
- no known prevention
- early recognition is good
- it can shorten the course of illness
