Other people- Teenagers see lots of people using various substances. They want to try too, so they aren't left out. But don't fall to peer pressure! That path just leads to disaster, and you know better than to risk your safety and well-being.

Misinformation — Perhaps the most avoidable cause of substance abuse is inaccurate information about drugs and alcohol. NO drugs or alcohol are good for you unless they are from your doctor if you're ill. Say NO to drugs!
