Anti-drug presentation

Teens use drugs for several reasons:

• To feel grown up
• Ignorance
• Curiosity
• Boredom
• Media

Feeling Grown Up:

• Drugs can change your brain function and make you act foolish, like a child
• By not doing drugs you can do other adult things like getting a job and staying out of troubel with the law

Ignorance:

• there is not a single drug without harmful side effects
• don't put things in your body that you don't know what they will do to you; just ask Marie Curie

Curiosity:

• If you want to know what it is like you'll get more than you bargained for; you can get addicted to drugs after just one try
• by avoiding an addiction you avoid a habit that could cost you your money, your morals, and your life

Boredom

• if you're bored enough to do drugs, you won't be bored for long. Soon all your time will be occupied feeling terrible, stealing from people you know, and wasting your money on drugs.
• However, I hear it's pretty boring in prison

Media

• There are plenty of idiots on TV, video games, magazines, etc. Do you need to add one more to the list by copying their bad decisions involving drugs?
