  • Creon would not listen to anyone. He only cared about his affairs and his opinions.
  • He would not listen to other peoples suggestions, only his.

  • A shovel would symbolize Antigone because the shovel was the cause of her death.
  • Also because a shovel by itself symbolizes laborious yet pleasing work.
  • The work that Antigone did was laborious yet pleasing because her brother was buried.

  • A white feather would symbolize Ismene because a white symbolizes a coward.
  • Ismene was a coward because she was too afraid to do what was right.
  • But when Antigone was going to be punished she tried to take the blame too.
  • Only to be claimed to be a hero.
