WHAT IS THE SIGNIFICANCE OF ANZAC DAY? WHY DO WE CELEBRATE IT?
We celebrate ANZAC day to remember all the New Zealand and Australia army corps
. For the ones who died in World war one and World War two.
We also remember all the other people who have died in the war.

What role did New Zealand play in that war?
New Zealand’s role in the war was to take over Gallipoli.
. The war started on the 28th July 1914 in Gallipoli in Turkey
and then lasted until 11 November 1918.

What's the meaning/significance of the poppies?
The poppy’s represent all the soldiers who died in the WWI
We have poppies because where they were fighting it was a poppy field
and the poppies came out around the time of the war.
