The History of anzac day!!
The ANZACs landed in Gallipoli on the 25.4.1915.
The ANZACS and other allies were fighting against the Turkish.
Over 120, 000 soldiers died in this battle.
The first ANZAC Day was in 1916.

The French and British were also fighting against the Turkish.
ANZAC Day symbols include poppies, crosses, and wreathes

Why do we celebrate anzac day?
To remember all the soldiers who lost their lives fighting in Gallipoli
it also honors those soldiers who returned safely
people can pay their respects to family members who have died in war
time to think about current soldiers still serving overseas
to pe proud of our country's history
