Most of this area's landforms are mountains

PLANTS & ANIMALS

Today it holds the richest of the temperate zone
It has very healthy and herbaceous plants
Most have many forest animals, like deer, bear, and fish
And others like fox, rabbits, and wolves
They have lots of trees like conferees, red spruce, and buckeye

BELIEFS

Appalachian people are considered a separate culture
The mountain area cuts off some communication from places
There is a lot of diversity
Some are church goers and some believe in folklore
Their base religion is mostly Christianity

TOWNS

Most towns are small towns
They have many old historical buildings
Most buildings were probably made years ago

Most homes are older from years back
They are old plantation houses passed down from generation
Some are made from brick or some are log cabins

FOOD

Some food is similar to ours
But, they grow lots of their food
They also have lots of home cooked foods
And fried and southern meals
Some include cornbread, fried chicken, and different vegetables

JOBS

They don't have a majority of job options for the area
Some include farming, logging, and mining
