THE CRUST: Ingredients
Flour {2.5 cups}
Salt {1 teaspoon}
Sugar {1 teaspoon}
Butter {1 cup}
Ice Water {amount varies}

The Crust: In the making
place all dry ingredients in bowl
cut in chilled butter
cut in ice water
wrap and refrigerate

FILLING: INGREDIENTS
Sugar {0.5 cup}
Flour {3 tablespoons}
Ground Cinnamon {1 teaspoon}
Salt {1/8 teaspoon}
Granny Smith Apples {6 cups}

Filling: in the Making
Mix all dry ingredients in large bowl
Slice up apples and place in bowl with other ingredients
Toss apples gently

Brown Sugar {1 cup}
Flour {0.5 cup}
Oats {0.5 cup}
Butter {0.5 cup}

Place all ingredients in bowl- except butter
Cut in butter until crumbly

Constructing the Pie
Roll out crust and place in pie plate- be creative with the rim
Arrange apples in the crust
Sprinkle crumb topping

Baking the Pie
Bake the pie at 375° F
For first 25 mins., cover crust with foil
Remove foil and bake an additional 30 mins.
Remove and drizzle with caramel and pecans
12.
Time to eat!!!
Let pie rest and allow the juices to set
Slice pie and serve warm with ice cream
Enjoy!
