STARFISH
- Many of the starfish in the world inhabit the cold sea floor
- They are most famous for regenerating their limbs or their whole body
- They are one of the most unique aquatic creatures that inhabit the sea

HOW THEY ADAPT
- The starfish adapts in a very unique way.
- In the middle of their bodies they have an orange dot
- This dot is a sensor that detects some type of light.
- When they find some type of light, they use the little suction cups on their limbs and attach to a solid object

HOW THEY ADAPT
- After they attach to a solid object, they continue to repeat this process wherever they go
- They don't always attach to the ground, they can attach to rocks and other objects

FACTS YOU DIDNT KNOW
- Starfish have no brains and no blood
- That is why they have that special sensor in their body
- Their blood is actually filtered sea water
- And finally their nervous system is spread throughout their arms
