HOW THEY ADAPT

  • The starfish adapts in a very unique way.
  • In the middle of their bodies they have an orange dot
  • This dot is a sensor that detects some type of light.
  • When they find some type of light, they use the little suction cups on their limbs and attach to a solid object

HOW THEY ADAPT

  • After they attach to a solid object, they continue to repeat this process wherever they go
  • They don't always attach to the ground, they can attach to rocks and other objects
