WHAT IS AN ARCHAEOLOGIST?

  • An Archeologist is a person who studies archaeology
  • They also study anthropology
  • Most archaeologists work in museum
  • They also work in the fields by digging up artifacts they do that so they can create a hypothesis to figure out new possibilities that others may have missed

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • You need a masters degrees or at least a Ph.d
  • It's suggested that you work in field of archaeology in school
  • You need to have studied in anthropology,cultural anthropology, and biological anthropology

ADVANCEMENT OPPORTUNITIES

  • It depends on how much they found out and how much time they had but if they do find an important piece of information it could change their career completely!

SALARY

  • An archaeologist gets payed 27.61 dollars per hour
  • They get 57,420 dollars per year
