ARCHETYPES

The Hero

• An example of a hero archetype is simba from the lion king.
• Simba fits the hero archetype because first he was born into royalty.
• Next a tragic event happened in his life, his father dying.
• His uncle made him think it was his fault, so simba went on a spiritual journey.
• On his journey he realized that he needed to save his tribe from his evil uncle.

THE MOTHER FIGURE

• An example of a mother figure archetype is cinderella and her godmother.
• This is an example of a mother archetype because first, cinderlla doesnt have apossitive mother figure
• Next, cinderella makes a wish and recieves a fairy godmother and lots more.
• The fairy god mother is maternal figure because she provides Cinderella with emotional support, happieness and success
• Like a real mother should!

STAR CROSSED LOVERS

• Romeo and Juliet is an example of star crossed lovers archetype.
• This is that archetype because first they are forbidden lovers from fighting families.
• They are star crossed lovers because it is both of their fates to be with each other.
• Usually in the this archetype the lovers dont end ul being with eachother.
• This was the case in romeo and juliet when they both die.

THE REBEL

• An example of the rebel archetype is prometheus from mythology.
• Prometheus is an example of this archetype because first he disobeyed the gods.
• He did this by giving the humans fire when he was not suppose to.
• This action is what makes him fit in to the rebel archetype

INNOCENT CHILD

• An example of an innocent child archdtype is annie.
• Annie is an example of an innocent child archetype because she is a small child in an orphange
• She is also an innocent child because she was in a bad foster home and she was the victim.
• Then daddy warbucks came and saved her from the terrible foster home
• Making him the hero and her the inoocent child

GOOD VS. EVIL

• A example of good vs. Evil is ariel and ursela in the little mermaid.
• Ariel is the good because all she wanted was to be a human and walk.
• Ursela was bad because she made a terrible deal with ariel
• She said if you give me your lovely voice, ill give you feet.
• This was a bad deal because ariel loved her voice but she wanted to walk even more.

DUMB BLONDE

• A good example of the dumb blone archetype is elle from legally blonde.
• She is a good example of this because first everyone thinks shes dumb because shes blonde.
• Next nobody thought she could get in to harvard because she was blonde and stupid.
• She ended up getting in to harvard and becoming a lawyer
• She graduated best in her class and joined a law firm before she graduated proving everyone wrong.
