Arctic fox description
The Arctic fox's head and body is 18 to 26.75 inches and it's tail is 13.75.The weight is 6.5 to 17 lbs.The Arctic fox is white to blend in to the snow. They have sharp teeth and large claws.The Arctic fox. Has a litter of 11 "whelps" (pups).they are born in late spring in den or a burrow.A baby pup is blind and the size of a kitten. The two parents take care of there blind pup. The baby fox open it's eyes at two weeks old.

The arctic fox's predator are polar bears,golden eagles,man,red foxes,and wolf packs.The Arctic fox eats Lemmings,snow rabbits, and other small mammals.The Arctic fox protects itself by it's claws and teeth.When the Arctic fox is fighting with another the Arctic fox will first yell then charge at each other. The Arctic fox will scavenge or kill small mammals to get food.

The Arctic is snowy and icy.It is cold and it can get in the negatives.The Arctic circle is near Europe,North America, and Asia.It can get up to -50f.The Arctic is very cold and it is cold all year.The winters are long and very cold.The summers are short.Some of the Arctic is very snowy and some of the Arctic is ice.One of the plants that survives is the Arctic lupine.

The Arctic lupine is an herb. The lupine is tall and it has hallow stalks covered with long smooth white hairs. The lupine has blue flowers and is also poisonous. The animals don't eat it because they will get sick or die. It is in northern Canada. The Arctic Lupine can survive in cold climates.
