PROBLEM 1: DEFORESTATION

  • From 1980 to 2000, more than 16 million hectares ( 1 hectare is 2.471 acres ) were chopped down.
  • Argentina has not been contributing to help the forests grow, causing more and more deforestation.
  • I don't agree with doing nothing about it because eventually, there will be no more trees, causing lack of oxygen, and serious debt for the country, because they have to buy wood from somewhere else. I would try to cut down on all of this and plant 2 trees for every 1 you cut down, but at the same time, cutting down less trees.

PROBLEM 2: VALUE OF MONEY

  • Over the past few years, the value of the peso in Argentina, has lost 20% of its value.
  • Argentina really can't solve this issue apparently and i don't agree with that.
  • I would make things more expensive so that it would balance out the value over time.

PROBLEM 3: POLITICAL PEOPLE

  • The president of Argentina has angered the citizens, mostly due to her decisions that didn't help the country at all.
  • Argentina is working on electing new people for president that aren't corrupt, And I agree with Argentina.
  • I would also get rid of the president as soon as possible so that the country wouldn't fall to pieces, if it hasn't already.

PROBLEM 4: INSECURITY

  • Small crime rate in Argentina is rising dramatically, and making it one of the most dangerous countries to live. The stealing has for some people, became their Jobs, and Argentina is working to rid of that crime.
  • They are trying to rid of it by making more police force and making getting caught, worse than it normally should be. I agree with this decision.
  • I agree because there really is no other way to stop the crime other than making the police live where they work.

PROBLEM 5: INFLATION

  • The economy in Argentina is terrible and the inflation is rising by 20% every year.
  • Argentina is trying to tell people that it's not bad and they under report it and underestimate it. I don't agree with that.
  • I say that they should try and fix the problem by fixing the money issue, that should help for most of the issue.

PROBLEM 6: PESTICIDES

  • Argentina has s major issue of pesticides growing in crops and food. In 1991 40 million liters of pesticides were found, and in 1997 over 100 million liters were found.
  • Argentina is not working to fix this issue and making sound like it's not that bad. I don't agree with that idea.
  • I would try to rid of the pesticides in the farms, so they don't grow into the food and live off of it.

PROBLEM 7: BANKRUPTCY

  • Argentina is one of the 11 major countries that is so close to bankruptcy, meaning the economy will crash and probably, if it's repaired, will never be the same.
  • Argentina isn't trying to fix it because inflation and money is worthless now. I don't agree with that.
  • I would try to fix the economy by, once again, making money worth something and making more of it at the same time, without making too much.

PROBLEM 8: CATTLE

  • Beef production in Argentina is dangerous now. The beef is infected and there is less of it, because the cows are eating bad grass.
  • Argentina is working on it by producing more cows to feed more beef to other people. I don't agree with that.
  • I think that I would try to fix the grass so that the cows would get more healthy and live longer.

PROBLEM 9: GENDER EQUALITY

  • Normal Argentina women earn 98% of what men earn in normal jobs, but Nicaraguan women only earn 68% in normal jobs.
  • Argentina hasn't been fixing this problem and I completely disagree with that.
  • I say that we should try and not be racist and make every gender and race earn the same amount of cash, unless they are not working hard enough.

PROBLEM 10: EDUCATION

  • Argentina has a high literacy rate of 97%, but after the economy fallout, most of the children were left without education, leaving the next generation not so well.
  • I know that Argentina is not fixing this because they can't fix the economy, but they are underestimating everything, and I don't agree.
  • I say that they fix the economy so that they can put the education on the most important list.
