  • He was a student of Plato
  • He taught cassander and Alexander the Great
  • They both grew up and became kings
  • Grew up in Athens but grew up in Stagira, Greece

  • His philosophy had a big influence on Muslim and catholic religion
  • He established a school called Lyceum
  • It is located in Athens next to a Apollo statue
  • He is also known for his extremely smart quotes
  • Only one third of his writings are still here today

  • Formal: that into something is made
  • Final: That for the sake of which something is made
  • He thought this was responsible for any real change and movement

  • Aristotle composed two types of writing one for the public and the other for his students and other teachers
  • He invented a science called "causality" which explained why things happened
  • Aristotle was more interested in he literary work of humans rather then exploration
  • He wrote on a lot of other subjects including poetry, theater, music, logic, metaphysics, rhetoric, ethic, and politics.
