- Francesca used unity by tying together the dove, Jesus, John, and the disciples
- There is harmony by using white and red throughout the painting
- Variety- the faces are different and there are different colors
- Balance- Jesus is in the middle with people on the left side and more mountains on the left side

- She doesn't look very happy
- The background looks very dark
