SPLIT AND DRAW

  • For this project I cut a face in half and drew the other half
  • This was challenging for me because it had to be very symetrical
  • As you can see i didnt get the shadings correct

DRY BRUSH

  • For this art work I used water and paint
  • I first put water on the paper
  • Then I put the paint over it
  • What happened is that the paint ran with the water

FANTASY FACES

  • I used water and paint to create this
  • I had to add lots of details to make it look like a fantasy
  • Trying not to mix the colors was a challenge

SCROLLS

  • For this art work I used different colors of paint
  • I tried to make them fade into each other
  • Then i added a tree on the side that covered the whole paper

BEACH

  • The point of this project was to know how to layer the paint
  • So it will stay the same color and not mess up

GEOMETRIC SHAPES

  • For this i used paint and a ruler
  • I examined the original painting and i saw that
  • it was just shapes pu together so i drew them piece
  • by piece

IPAD CASE

  • This was the most challenging one for me
  • The reason is because I didn't know how to sow
  • Everything had to be exact or it wouldn't have came out right
  • Putting the button was the hardest thing for me. The reason is
  • because it kept moving out of place

LANDSCAPE

  • This project was challenging for me as well
  • The reason is because the water was hard to control
  • The paints didnt come out the color i would have liked

STENCILS

  • I enjoyed doing this project
  • The reason is because it was kinda easy for me
  • All i did was cut cardboard and then i painte them on to a paper

CLAY SCULPTURE

  • Trying to smooth out the clay was very hard
  • I wasnt able to get it completly smooth.
  • I added some details to the butterfly

Week 2 reflection
1) In this section I used paint to create water color drawings. I also created drawings that I have never created before.m

2) I learned that if you add paint on water it moves with the water. I found it very fascinating because the paint moved where ever the water was, and it created something very cool.

3) Next time I would take a little more time on the colors. Like so they don't combine with each other and so they don't make a mess.

Week 3 reflection
1) In this section I drew a beach and i recreated a painting.

2) I had to learn how to use my colors properly. Like for example when I drew and painted the beach I had to start with the background. Then I added some details as I contimued to draw and paint.

3) Next time I would take more time drawing the beach. I would add more details to my paintings. I would use more exotic bright colors for the reacreation if the painting.
