There is a cultural challenge in the fact that the land is part of all elements. Think of the reaction to people climbing Uluru. People felt it was a birth right. Now think about the reaction to activists climbing the opera house - a man made structure. The offence taken, by the community over Uluru climbs was personal. This is why cultural competency for the organisation is vital.

Bathurst has a mentoring program - LEAP. This is way to build local capacity but also bring the audience (to support our youth). A partnership across organisation, would be amazing.
