You must be artistic(obviously).
You have to be willing to work with kids of all ages and sizes.
You have to be able to explain things into depth for the students.

Education and Training
A Bachelor's Degree is required for all-age teaching.
A Master's Degree is also advised.
To teach at a college level you must also have a Doctorate.

Hours of Work
Hours typically range throughout the school day.
Hours vary by school.
School typically runs 6hrs, so probably somewhere between 6-12 hours during the week.
