  • Persians came out of hiding making them an easy target
During the Persian War, the Persian army set out for Megara.
Megara, fearful for their city prayed to Artemis for help.
Persians shot their arrows into the forest, and every time an arrow hit a tree, Artemis caused the Persians to hear the ground of wounded people.
Convinced they were killing the Greeks, the Persians stopped shooting and came out, thus making the Persians an easy target in the morning.
