• Her mother is Leto
• she helped her mother give birth to her twin brother Apollo

She became protector of female children and Apollo was protector of male children.

Artemis is a virgin which gained attention from many men but only Orion won her heart

Myths

• Actean and Orion tried to rape her but it ended violently
• said that Orion was accidentally killed by Artemis or by Gaia (earth goddess)
• Apollo and Artemis killed the children of Niobe because she was bragging that she had more kids then Leto

Her role in the Trojan war was to heal Aeneas when Diomedes wounds him
