TEMPTATION

• Temptation is an invitation commit an immoral act.
• We pray that the good can triumph over evil.
• Hallowed means regarded as holy.
• Satan is gods enemy.

SATAN

• Satan is Gods enemy
• He is the instigator of sin and temptation.
• As individuals we petition God to deliver us from Satan.
• "Deliver us from evil" is part of the Our Father that defines this

WHAT IS PRAYER?

• Prayer is lifting up ones mind and heart to God.
• Prayer as conversation and communication with God, nourishes the seeds of faith.
• All salvation history reveals the importance of prayer.
• God created us to be in communion with him.

LITURGY OF THE HOURS

• The morning prayer is Christ's resurrection.
• The mid morning prayer talks about the new life.
• The night prayer is about divine protection and peace.

THE LORDS PRAYER

• Our father who art in heaven, hallowed by thy name.
• Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
• Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses.
• As we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation
• But deliver us from evil
