WHAT KIND ARE THERE?

• Synthetic fibers
• Synthetic are made w/ a permanent curl & will not react with weather conditions

ARE THERE OTHER COLORS?

• There are multiple colors you can purchase them in
• Most popular is black
• Can get them for costume purposes in "trendy" colors like pink, purple, blue, gold, etc

APPLYING FALSE LASHES

• Drape client
• Push hair back w/ headband or towel
• Brush client's eyelashes to make sure they're clean and free of debris (mascara)

APPLICATION, CONTINUED

• Carefully remove eyelash band from package — don't rip or mess up lashes
• If band is too long, trim the OUTER corner to fit to client's eyeshape
• Bend lash to horseshoe shape so it adheres in a comfortable way
• Apply thin coat of lash adhesive to lash band - TACKY!

APPLICATION, CONTINUTED

• After adhesive is tacky, use tweezers or fingers to apply lash band
• Start at the inner corner of the eye, with the shorter part of lash
• Connect the outer corner
• Get it as close to client's natural lash line as possible

HOW TO REMOVE

• Lash base can be softened w/ gentle cleansers or warm water on cotton pads
• Start from outer corner
• Be careful not to pull client's own lashes

REMOVAL, CONTINUED

• Use cotton swabs to remove any additional adhesive on the lid

INDIVIDUAL LASHES

• Individual lash application
• AKA "eye tabbing"
• Individual synthetic lashes attached directly to client's own lashes
• At the base
• Follow manufacturer's instructions

CAUTION!

• Client's can be allergic to adhesive
• Give an allergy test
• Drop of adhesive behind one ear
• Attach a single eyelash to each eyelid
